Introduction

My husband and I decided to downsize when we discovered that our house owned us, not the other way around. We each have advanced science and engineering degrees. At our most "bloated" we each worked jobs that paid over six figures, owned a 4400 square-foot house on an acre of land with unbelievable mountain views in Colorado, and owned what now seems like incredible amounts of stuff.  Now we live in an 800 square-foot apartment and are pursuing second bachelor's degrees in music. These posts are our story about the downsizing.  We may start another blog about the music.
